Orlando's messy, gooey and fun-filled science experiments return this weekend to the Orlando Science Center.
The Mess Fest features three brand new mess zones, along with five mess zones from previous years.
Mess Fest, an annual event, happens this year from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19. The event helps kids and adults learn scientific theory by performing gooey and slimy experiments.
The mess zones will include a mess mania obstacle course, paint-splosions, oobleck, alka-rockets, a splat-a-pult, ice cream making, and a black light cosmic mess.
Sunday's activities will also feature an open discussion with Eric DeLima Rubb from the Blue Man Group at Universal CityWalk. Rubb will talk through his time performing and his experiences with the mess that goes along with getting into his Blue Man character.
Admission to the Mess Fest is free for members and included in general admission for non-members. General admission is $20.95 for adults, $18.95 for students and seniors, $14.95 for youth and free for children age 2 and under.
Attendees can also purchase Mess Fest-branded T-shirts for $5 to splatter with sticky fun – and keep their original outfits clean.
