To the surprise of absolutely no one, Southern Fried Sundays, the BBQ-'n-music tradition formerly of Copper Rocket has moved to Will's Pub!
It returns March 20 with Riverbottom Nightmare Band, the Flat Mountain Band and the Silver Fleece. 5:30pm, $5. Sweet!

Southern Fried Sunday is proud to announce that on March 20th we will dig in our oldroots and begin sprouting new roots at Will's Pub! Southern Fried Sunday (SFS) is thrilled to
continue the Orlando tradition at one of the area's best independent music venues!
Will Walker of Will's Pub is making some changes to best accommodate Southern Fried
Sunday and it’s fans. On the 3rd Sunday of each month fans of the event will enjoy table and
booth seating in the band room, additional table seating in the front game room and an outside,
open air patio in the back. Fans will still enjoy 3 to 4 great southern style musical acts and a
great southern style bbq and fried chicken dinner included in the price of admission.
Wendy Davis creator and chef of Poca's Hottest music and art themed sauces will be
creating and cooking the Southern Fried Sunday menu. Southern Fried Sunday will also employ
the culinary assistance of Pom Moongauklang, of Pom Pom's Teahouse & Sandwicheria
and Tako Cheena a soon to be open taco bar on Mills Ave., as well as Kenny and Denny's BBQ
Joint on certain month's Southern Fried menu. This collaborative cooking will make both the
music and the meal at Southern Fried Sunday a community effort.
The extensive beer selection at Will's Pub is great news for SFS fans who are beer
drinkers. As is the fact that Southern Fried Sunday has been able to maintain their relationship
with Pabst Blue Ribbon and retain PBR as a monthly sponsor allowing Will's Pub to offer great
Pabst specials to SFS fans and bands. Although Southern Fried Sunday is a beer drinkin', bbq
eatin' and guitar pickin' event at Will's Pub the monthly event will for the first time be open to
anyone age 18 and above.
Please plan to join us at our "housewarming" first Southern Fried Sunday show at Will's
Pub on Sunday March 20th where we will go back to the musical heritage of the event by hosting
3 bluegrass/folk bands; Riverbottom Nightmare Band, The Flat Mountain Band and The Silver
Fleece. We are confident that Southern Fried Sunday will find a supportive new home at Will's
Pub and will be able to continue celebrating Southern Fried Sundays there for many more years to
come!
