Since Darden Restaurants sold them earlier this year, Red Lobster has been making some changes, introducing a new style of plating and getting rid of some of its promotional discounts. The most significant, though, is the announcement that the company will move its headquarters from just off of John Young Parkway to the heart of downtown Orlando, which Bungalower.com just reported today.

According to Bungalower.com, the new HQ will encompass three entire floors of the CNL building, which is located at 450 S. Orange Ave., right next to City Hall. In addition to the three floors for employees, Red Lobster will also take over the culinary center on the first floor of the builiding. This is where new menu items for the chains 700+ restaurants will be developed.

The plan is to move all 300 corporate employees downtown by early next year, at the latest.
