Brendan Lukens
Brendan Lukens of Philly pop-punk group Modern Baseball is playing a show in Orlando over the long Labor Day weekend with a stacked bill of locals. This is notable in that, earlier this year, Lukens bowed out of all touring commitments related to Modern Baseball to focus on his own mental health and well-being. The show, part of a small handful of intimate gigs scheduled, should be a good welcome back for the guitarist and songwriter. The whole band, meanwhile, will reconvene to play their final shows later this year in Philadelphia.

Brendan Lukens, Jess Sands, Expert Timing, Tanner Jones (You Blew It!), and Steven Gray (Dikembe) play the Henao Contemporary Center on Monday, Sept. 4, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8.
