The Steve Zissou impersonation world has found its new mustard-topped hero. I’m referring to one-half of the Orlando paramount promotions pair: Norse Korea. Captain Brad, and co-captain Kyle, have been held responsible for the sharp rise in airborne torso traffic inside several venues across Central Florida recently. Causes for this phenomenon are attributed to their consistent spearheading of energy engorged indie and hardcore shows. Trajectory is anticipated to reach new heights on April 16 with an upcoming performance from record label Deathwish Inc.’s (real) screamo savants: Loma Prieta. As their name implies, these Bay Area natives embody an allusively, and literally, tectonic vehemence that tends to stir onlookers into several compelling stage dives. Incalculable support includes a hat trick assortment of Melbourne’s Arc and Panther, and locals Abuse and the Caution Children. Together they will lend a hand to Loma Prieta skipper Bradley Ryan as he steers the quavering vessel towards Will’s Pub and away from OIA. – Jared Oates
