After a nearly five-year run, the Incredibles Super Dance Party is coming to an end.

The Tomorrowland dance party is one of the last remaining dance parties at Walt Disney World that’s character-driven. This is also the only regular appearance of The Incredibles characters at Walt Disney World.

The DJ-hosted dance party was formerly themed to Stitch and known as “Club 626.” That party featured Stitch, Chip n’ Dale, Pluto, and occasionally Goofy. The Incredibles moved in with Mr. Incredible, Frozone and Mrs. Incredible taking over the dance floor.

Using what was originally a temporary stage, the dance party featured the characters dancing with guests and a DJ emceeing the event from on stage. Taking place most evenings, the dance parties have meant loud dance music blaring throughout Tomorrowland, even heard on the nearby rides.

Many people recall this dance party as the one where, back in 2014, Mrs. Incredible had an unfortunate fall that caused her face to fall off.

The incident quickly went viral, causing a small uptick in interest in the dance party. In recent years Disney World has shifted its focus from the mainstream music-based dance parties to more streetmosphere-based acts that have proven popular at Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs.

There’s no word on what will be replacing The Incredibles, but this could be a sign of the upcoming major overhaul rumored for Tomorrowland that may include a new Tron ride, an update to the Carousel of Progress, and a complete overhaul of the Stitch’s Great Escape/Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café building.

The Incredibles Super Dance Party is scheduled to end before May, according to numerous unofficial Disney World news sites.
