Hugh Jackman announces Central Florida concert set for next summer

Actor Hugh Jackman, continuing to confound the expectations of those who know him best as the X-Men's Wolverine, has today announced dates for his musical arena tour "The Man. The Music. The Show."

And if you want to see for himself if he's got the singing goods in the flesh - previously evidenced on the big screen in Les Misérables and his 2011 "Back on Broadway" one-man show - you're in luck because he will be playing one Central Florida show next year. The event promises Jackman reprising numbers from Les Misérables, the Greatest Showman and more.

Hugh Jackman headlines the Amalie Arena in Tampa on Friday, July 5, 2019, at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 7.
