Restaurant ASH, the Mills 50 cafe run by Hell's Kitchen contestant Ashley Nickell, has closed. In the window of the space at 912 N. Mills Ave., there's now a sign saying "OPENING SOON: Brooklyn Coffee Shop."

Meanwhile, the glass door sports a note saying "We are moving ... new concept coming here soon" and the Restaurant ASH web address.

On the site, there's a message reading:

Restaurant ASH is searching for a new location in downtown Orlando area. Come visit us at Funky Monkey Bistro & Bar Pointe Orlando on the World Famous International Drive. Keep in touch with us for updates on the new location.

Nickell is the daughter of Eddie Nickell and Nicholas Olivieri, owners of the FMI Restaurant Group, of which the Funky Monkey Wine Company in Pointe Orlando is a part. Restaurant ASH occupied the former Funky Monkey Wine Company space.
