Popbar gelato joint opens in the Orlando Premium Outlets

Popbar is now serving up handmade gelato on a stick in the Orlando Premium Outlets.

Opening early this month, Popbar stands out from other frozen dessert spots for its easy-to-eat treats, which are made daily and run around $5.

You can find these fancy pops at 8200 Vineland Ave., between Hugo Boss and AG Jeans.

Originally a New York establishment, the Popbar franchise has grown to a multinational chain since its start in 2010, with roughly 20 locations in the United States and several others in Canada, Panama, Russia and Singapore.

Customers can choose to add various fruits, nuts and syrups to their pops. Vegan and gluten-free options are available.

Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
