Well, that didn’t take long. The Copper Rocket, Maitland’s unkillable bar, rises from the dead yet again this week. But while the bar has gone through owners of varying levels of competence over the past several years, this current remodel actually looks inviting. The redesign includes more taps, an upgraded kitchen and more than 30 TVs, meaning that it might have a chance to turn into the great neighborhood joint it always had the potential to be. Stop by on opening day to sample the new menu and take advantage of day-one drink specials.
