Jam-Eng, a Jamaican and English bar restaurant, is now open in downtown Orlando.

Pronounced "jamming," the Caribbean eatery opened last month at 65 N. Orange Ave., at the corner of Orange Avenue and Washington Street.

The "jazzy island restaurant" offers Jamaican classics like oxtail stew, ackee and saltfish with coco bread, jerk chicken and escoveitch fish. The British dishes include cottage pie, roast chicken and gammon steak.

Jam-Eng also offers soups, cold sandwiches, salads and breakfast. They also do catering events, like weddings, birthdays and family reunions. Call in your order at 321-424-5062.
