A former University of Central Florida student is heading back to school this month to compete in the culinary classroom of Food Network's
All-Star Academy.
Zoe Kelly is one of the nine cooks who will be appearing on the second season of the Food Network show, according to a network
press release.
The eight-episode competition will pit these "students" against each other in school-themed food challenges, with the winner walking away with a grand prize of $50,000. The contestants will be tutored by four world-famous chefs, including Alex Guarnaschelli, Curtis Stone, Robert Irvine and Andrew Zimmern.
Kelly graduated from UCF in 2013, and has since been running a food blog called
Zoe Kelly's Kitchen.
The first episode of
All-Star Academy will premiere Sunday, February 14 at 10 p.m. and then move into its regular time slot on Sundays at 9 p.m.
