A world of good eatin'

Time to eat your way around the planet again from the comfort of your own backyard Global Village. The 6th annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival runs through Nov. 18, and for the price of admission plus a few bucks you can harvest some new taste experiences.

Almost every pavilion has a special booth selling regional food, wine and beer samples, and judging by the opening crowd, you'll be pretty toasty by the time you're done. Longest line: sugar cane chicken sticks at the South African booth. Best beer: surprisingly, France's St. Amand Country Ale. Biggest laugh: watch kids ordering snails. Best dish: honey soy duck at the Grand Tasting, of which there are four more during the month, at $65 per person. The $85 per person "Winemaker Dinners" are by reservation only; the $135 per person "Reserve" dinners are already sold out. Call 407-WDW-DINE.
