Traffic will be a major clusterf*ck this Saturday in downtown Orlando

Being awesome isn't always easy, and this Saturday, because of five massive events, traffic in downtown Orlando is going to be a goat rodeo. Those events, on top of the usual weekend downtown madness, are:

—The 2017 Come Out With Pride Festival at Lake Eola Park, which includes a parade marching throughout downtown
—Bruno Mars at Amway Center
—The National Women’s Soccer League Championship at Orlando City Stadium
—Markiplier’s "You’re Welcome" Tour at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts
— The Orlando Philharmonic's "Classical Mystery Tour: A Tribute to the Beatles" at Bob Carr Theater

Plus let's not forget the inevitable rolling road closures due to construction on 408 and the I-4 Ultimate project. If you're planning to use a ride-hailing service, allow yourself extra time for the trip even though you're not parking – traffic will be heavy. If you're going to drive, plan ahead, be on the lookout for detour signs, and leave early. The city recommends reserving a parking space in city-owned garages ahead of time, which is a thing you can do here.

Below is a list of suggested parking locations for each event and a list of road closures, courtesy of City of Orlando staff.
