Bomb threat at University High School causes evacuation

At about 10 a.m. today, a bomb threat was called into University High School. The school, where nearly 3,000 students are enrolled, was immediately evacuated, as was the nearby Waterford Lakes Elementary School. University High School is currently being swept by K-9 units and bomb technicians.

We will update this story as it unfolds.

UPDATE: Students at both University High School and Waterford Lakes Elementary have returned to class.
