Florida's largest medical marijuana provider has made a deal with a Colorado company to bring cannabis-infused cookies, caramels, brownies and other products to the state's more than 180,000 patients.

Trulieve announced Monday its partnership with Love’s Oven, a Denver-based company that creates gourmet baked goods, craft concentrates, all natural beverages and artisan confections. The medical cannabis company recently signed a deal in January with another Colorado-based company specializing in marijuana-infused edibles called Binske, whose products include French-inspired pâte de fruit candies, fruit leather, honey and olive oil.

Both deals have been approved by the Florida Department of Health, but no specific products have been approved yet, says Trulieve spokesperson Victoria Walker.

"Trulieve is still waiting on rules from the [Department of Health] to submit products for approval," Walker says in a statement.

While Trulieve will provide Love's Oven products exclusively in Florida, the medical cannabis company adds there can be "no assurance as to the timing and scope of regulatory approval for the edible cannabis products, when and if it is obtained."

Aside from some seriously delicious looking cookies, brownies and caramels, Love's Oven also sells cannabis-infused crackers, magic bars, fruit beverages, peanut butter cups and other candy-like products.

"Love’s Oven specifically crafts their products to be the highest-quality available on the market and is dedicated to helping patients achieve relief from everything from chronic pain to insomnia and other ailments," Trulieve CEO Kim Rivers says in a statement. "Their products are not only delicious, they’re clean, organic, and, most importantly, all natural, which is what Trulieve has focused on since the beginning. Their products are an effective, reliable treatment option for patients seeking relief in innovative ways."

Love's Oven CEO Peggy Moore added that her company is excited to partner with Trulieve and introduce its cannabis-infused products to Florida patients.

"Our team is working with Trulieve on production to ensure our consistent and effective products are ready to be launched once regulatory approvals are in place," Moore says in a statement. "As a family-run and owned business, we craft all of our products with the best ingredients and know they’ll be a great match for patients in Florida."
