Don’t let the yoga-pose photos on the event website scare you off – albeit completely unnatural and at times, awkward. This three-day yoga-centered outing offers something for every level: Yoga for Chakra Balancing, Mommy Baby Yoga, Meditation and Pranayama, a Kids Yoga Party, Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Beach Yoga are among the dozens of workshops, expert presentations and demos at Rasa-Lila Fest. Now in its second year, the outdoor event kicks off on Friday with a Trance-Fusion dance party featuring music by DJ Karri Cole. “Positively Pat” Conklin infuses some humor into Saturday with her Laughter Yoga midday session. And rounding out the weekend, Saturday afternoon’s “Yoga Cocktail Party” will be led by Rasa-Lila Teacher Contest winner Denice (of Florida Power Yoga), followed by a screening of Vikram Gandhi’s documentary Kumaré later that evening. – Aimee Vitek
