New York rehearsals begin next month for Disenchanted, the hilarious homegrown show about disgruntled Disney princesses formerly known as Bitches of the Kingdom. Dennis Giacino and Fiely Matias' mirthful musical was a smash hit in its off-Broadway run at the Theatre at St. Clements; now it moves to the Westside Theatre for an open-ended run. Tickets are still available for the March 19 opening, so if you find yourself up North, check in on Snow White, Belle and the gang.

The Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts continues its community outreach campaign with two new ways to explore. As one might expect, the Dr. Phillips Center app allows users to search upcoming shows and buy tickets; but it also lets attendees make reservations at downtown partner restaurants, share selfies from the Center and even make note of where they left their cars. And for those who've yet to break the doorframe, new docent-led Curiosity Tours give visitors a thorough look at the facility, from main theaters to backstage areas.
