Orange County Animal Services Pet of the Week: Penelope

This lovely little lady with the sad eyes is Penelope (Animal ID A306277), and she is looking for a home for the holidays! She is a shy but friendly girl who was recently found as a stray. She has a submissive personality, and she gets along with other dogs, though she might need a little bit of time before she warms up to you. However, with time and love, we know she’ll have an outgoing personality!

Plus, she looks great in silly holiday outfits.

Right now, Orange County Animal Services is holding its Home for the Holidays promotion, which reduces all cat and dog adoption fees to $12 for the month of December. And, as always, if you adopt Penelope, or any other dog or cat from the shelter during December, they’ll be spayed or neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped before going home.
