Lee Road under I-4 to close this weekend

A section of Lee Road that runs under I-4 will be closed over the weekend for bridge construction work.

The Florida Department of Transportation shared that the section of Lee just past Wymore Road would be closed, with traffic being rerouted along Fairbanks Avenue, N. Orlando Ave and Webster Ave. depending on their direction of travel. The department shared a map showing the series of detours which will start when the road closes at 10 p.m. on Friday.

The closure is expected to last until 6 a.m. Monday morning. FDOT says that detour signs will be posted along the routes.
