Calling all dessert lovers, reality TV junkies and shopaholics alike. Looking for a justification to feast on fancy cakes and cupcakes from one of the most popular bakeries in America? Starting this summer, you will have to look no further for this opportunity than the Florida Mall.

The Orlando Business Journal reports that Carlo’s Bakery, popularized in the dramatically hilarious hit TV series Cake Boss on TLC, will make its debut in Orlando this summer. According to OBJ, the shop will be one of 27 boutiques and eateries debuting in the new Dining Pavilion section of the mall.

Florida Mall manager Brian Hanson told OBJ, “[Carlo’s Bakery] operates a handful of bakeries in New Jersey/New York and one in Las Vegas. We have relationships with countless retailers, restaurants and brokers, and this one took shape through those relationships. We’re extremely excited to debut Carlo’s Bakery here this summer.”

Carlo's Bakery owner Buddy Valastro launched his baking career in Hoboken, New Jersey, following in his father's footsteps to make the bakery a household name for intricately designed sweet treats. Due to Cake Boss' enormous success as an entertaining Jersey-Italian family drama and mouthgasm-inducing showcase of delectably elaborate desserts and wedding cakes, he has since extended the bakery to seven additional locations.

We are excited to see Carlo's bakery in Orlando, the first of its kind in the Southeast, and remain hopeful of catching a glimpse of the infamous face (and voice) of Buddy when the shop is officially open for business. If not, a red velvet cream cheese cupcake or an entire cannoli tray to the face will do just fine.
