However, weirdly, we also rank No. 1 for best wakeup mood. I don't even know what to say about that – maybe living in Orlando teaches us to put a brave face on a crap situation?
Here's the breakdown, complete with cities we can trash-talk: Hey Miami, maybe you should sweat your job a little more! Why so relaxed, Philadelphia?

Key findings by age and gender:
- The demographic that spends the least time in bed: men aged 18-30 at 6 hours, 48 minutes.
- All three age groups of women tied for the most time in bed at 7 hours, 14 minutes.
- Not surprisingly, men and women aged 18-30 are the only demographic who go to bed after midnight – men at 12:43 a.m. and women at 12:12 a.m.
- The earliest bedtime in Orlando: women 31-50 retire at 11:30 p.m. on average.
- All Orlando residents wake up after 7 a.m. – men 18-30 wake up the latest, at 7:53, and women 31-50 wake up the earliest, at 7:04 a.m.
- Women age 31-50 get the best quality sleep, while women 51 and over get the worst quality of sleep.
- And finally, in perhaps the least shocking news ever given screen space, women 51 and over wake up in the worst mood, while men aged 18-30 wake up in the best mood.
- Orlando spends only 7 hours and 3 minutes in bed, on average, each night. This is 4 minutes less than the national average of 7 hours and 7 minutes.
- Only 39.6 percent of Orlando users recorded drinking coffee on a daily basis. This is 5 percent less than the national average, and less than any other major Florida city. Only four other major U.S. cities drank less coffee last month (December): Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Milwaukee and Indianapolis.
- Only 23.5 percent of Orlando users recorded working out on a daily basis. That is nearly 3 percent less than the national average, but an increase locally since October, when only 17.1 percent recorded workouts.
- More users in Orlando record feeling stressed before falling asleep each night than in any other major Florida city.
