Disney Animation made the latest Mickey Mouse short, No Service, available on their website today. The short features Mickey and Donald Duck on a seaside vacation. While waiting for Minnie and Daisy, they decide to get some food but are shut out by a rather mean Goofy, who refuses them service citing the "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service" policy.
The last new Mickey cartoon, Croissant de Triomphe, was all right, but No Service is legitimately funny in the most un-Disney sort of way. The whole short is about Mickey trying to hide behind umbrellas and signs so no on sees his full on nakedness after he gives Donald his shoes and pants to placate Goofy and score the food. I can't imagine Walt (or even Roy) okaying this, but thankfully the new animation team seems to have some autonomy to go a little more risque than the usual Mickey.
