Fandoms unite at the convention center this weekend as GeekyCon returns to town

Show the world your inner geek at the annual three-day convention where all fandoms unite: GeekyCon. Whether you’re a Potterhead, a Whovian or even a Disneyphile, there are a variety of different events over the three-day gathering to get your geek on. Cosplay your favorite character, meet other members of your fandom, or even dance along to Harry and the Potters over at the Geeky Music Festival. You can also meet and get autographs from stars like Jurassic World’s Ty Simpkins, YouTuber Jon Cozart, Supernatural’s Osric Chau, Geekycon staple Tessa Netting and others. Learn the ins and outs of creating a fictional language with David Peterson, creator of Game of Thrones’ Dothraki and Valyrian languages and The 100’s Trigedasleng tongue. Explore the marketplace for your favorite memorabilia, listen to panels by YA writers, or even play some Muggle Quidditch. Don’t want to go back to the real world? There’s even a workshop on how to be a Full-Time Geek!

8 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m.-midnight Saturday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, July 29-31 | Orange County Convention Center, 9899 International Drive | geekycon.com | $49-$249
