You'll have to wait until December to see
Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but you may be able to take a ride through the movie before you see it in theaters.
Disney will be adding a scene from
The Last Jedi to the Star Tours ride at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios, reports the
Orlando Sentinel.
Tom Fitzgerald, a creative executive with Walt Disney Imagineering, announced that a scene from the newest Star Wars saga will be incorporated into the ride at Disney World and Disneyland during a panel at last weekend's Star Wars Celebration.
Fitzgerald said the scene will focus on the mineral planet Crait, seen in the new trailer as speeder ships kick up red dust.
The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson told
Entertainment Weekly that the planet is home to an old, abandoned Rebel base.
Johnson says that the mineral planet will end up playing a major role in the film, hinting at a "pressing and immediate threat," which means that the scene in the ride will probably be a kickass, blood red battle royal.
No date has been set yet for the new scene, but back in 2015, a new scene from
The Force Awakens was added a month before the movie came out.
Both Disney World and Disneyland are currently working on creating Star Wars Lands, which will debut in 2019.
