The
CFE Arena on the University of Central Florida campus is getting a name change on May 1 to Addition Financial Arena.
This renaming was decided by the
CFE Federal Credit Union as a general name change to the whole company. The change was meant to make the credit union a "more inclusive place to do business," according to a press release by the CFE.
"Under our new name, we will remain dedicated to our heritage in education, and will proudly serve the university in the years to come," says Kevin Miller, CFE's President and CEO in the press release.
The only things that will change are the company name, from CFE Federal Credit Union to Addition Financial, and the company website, which will also be launching on May 1.
The
CFE Federal Credit Union was founded in 1973 as Orange County Teacher's Federal Credit Union. They now serve over 155,000 members, offering financial services to anyone who lives, works, worships, volunteers, or attends school in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Lake Counties.
