Reports are coming in of an accident this afternoon involving the Express Line of the Magic Kingdom monorail.
The incident occurred during a planned test near Disney's Contemporary Resort. It's being reported that damage has occurred to the front end of the monorail. However, no injuries have been reported and no guests were onboard.
All monorail lines are currently closed.
UPDATE:
A spokeswoman with Disney contacted Orlando Weekly with further details, explaining that the monorail incident occurred after it was being towed. At some point the tow hitch broke, causing the monorail to coast into the tractor.
All monorail service is still closed at the moment.
This is a developing story. We'll update this post with more information as it becomes available.
