If quippy one-liners interspersed with action sequences is your bag, then you're not gonna wanna miss Arnold Day X. An event that started with two friends, a VCR and their favorite local pizza and beer joint has grown into an annual celebration of Arnold Schwarzenegger's birthday. This Saturday at Lazy Moon Pizza, Governator fans gather to dress like Arnold, quote along with Arnold's one-liners and just rejoice in general on the day of (or the weekend drinkin' day closest to) the action star's birthday.
This year, since it's the tenth iteration of the movie marathon birthday party, they'll be screening nine of Ah-nold's greatest works (all the beer consumed represents the tenth movie):
- Total Recall
- Conan the Barbarian
- Commando
- True Lies
- Terminator
- Predator
- Kindergarten Cop
- Sabotage
- Running Man
In addition to the movie screenings, there will be Arnold-related food and drink specials going on all day, including, maybe, just maybe, dollar beers during every Arnold/bad guy face-off. Event organizers are also trying their damnedest to get the Terminator himself to show up to the event by raising fat stacks of cash for one of the actor's favorite charities, After-School All-Stars.
