Disney's new CEO, Bob Chapek, just listed his home in Camarillo, California, presumably because he's moving up in the world, to chief Mouseketeer of the international company. We don't know if he will relocate to Florida or remain on the West Coast, but if his new home is at least as nice as the one he's listing, it will be a fantasy mega-mansion. It's more than 40 miles west of Disney's Burbank headquarters, so he may just be planning to move closer to the office.
Chapek, who is 60, has worked with the company for 27 years. He will replace longtime CEO, Bob Iger, who will still oversee Chapek for two more years as executive chairman. Chapek used to oversee the company's parks and attractions, but now he is also responsible for Disney's movies, TV networks and streaming services, and merchandising.
The house itself is a secluded equestrian marvel, with horse and walking trails throughout the Lexington Hills community, and breathtaking views of the hills and valleys that surround it, including the Reagan Library. It has six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, with 6,088 indoor square feet on a 20 acre lot.
