There's no doubt that homes are getting more expensive in the Orlando area. However, this Mediterranean mansion built in 1928 would fetch a pretty price in any market. The lakefront mansion along Edgewater Drive in College Park just became the most-expensive property ever sold in that neighborhood, going for $3.7 million after just a few weeks on the market.
The 23-room mansion comes complete with five fireplaces, massive master suites, gorgeous tile, wildlife murals and its own greenhouse. Outside, a pool butts up against Lake Concord with views of the downtown Orlando skyline. A guest house allows visitors to live in an equal amount of opulence. The Orlando Sentinel shares that the home was purchased by a Winter Park family who hoped to be closer to family members in the neighborhood.
If you missed out on this historic mansion, don't fret. A slightly less expensive option in a similar style is currently for sale with similar lakefront views.
