The founders of Publishers Clearing House hired Epcot architects to build this Longwood home, now it's for sale

A Longwood home is now for sale, and it comes with big-name ties.

The house, located at 812 Sweetwater Club Blvd. in Longwood, was originally custom-designed and built for the billionaire founders of Publishers Clearing House, Harold and LuEsther Mertz.

The couple enlisted the skills of world-renowned, Orlando-based architect firm Helman Hurley Charvat Peacock/Architects, Inc. to create the home. The firm is also responsible for the Orlando Convention Center and Epcot, as well as other prominent properties across the globe.

This Longwood home, dubbed the "Lake Meadow Manor," comes with nine bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, perched on a one-of-a-kind 11-acre estate. It's made up of three separate buildings, including the main residence (14,623 square feet), the guest house (2,650 square feet) and the staff quarters (nearly 1,000 square feet). According to the listing, the mansion took a total of seven years to complete.

Some other knockout features include the eight-car garage, resort-style outdoor entertainment area and the home's very own tennis court.

The home is currently listed for $5,500,000 and is being handled by Pamela Porazzo with Real Property International.
