The fictionally Floridian mansion of Tony Montana in 'Scarface' is on the market for $40M

You can make all your Floridian '80s excess dreams come true (if you're willing to move to California). The real-life mansion that served as the home of Al Pacino's Tony Montana in Scarface is on the market for just shy of $40 million.

The 7-bedroom mansion had quite a life before it was used as the setting where Montana made his ultimately doomed last stand. Known as El Fureidis, the sprawling estate has stood for more than a century in Montecito, CA. The home is one of just five residences designed by renowned American architect Bertram Goodhue. The home is a stunning example of Spanish revival styles, with much of the interior taking its cues from Moorish design. If you don't believe us, take a look at the stunning, coral-tiled conversation room.

The dining room features a gold-leaf ceiling and a mural of Alexander the Great conquering Persepolis. Outside the home, Persian gardens boast a variety of trees. The home's original owner's penchant for palm trees is credited in some corners with sparking a craze that completely changed the landscape of Southern California as we know it.

The listing last sold in 2015 for a little over $12 million. The house's pedigree, updates to the building and the growing premium on land in the area (the home sits on 10 flat acres) have boosted the price to more than triple that.

Riskin Partners at Village Properties/Forbes Global Properties is overseeing the listing.
