Lake Nona country club estate hits the market at record-breaking price

In this super-hot housing market, ritzy Lake Nona had the luxury of always being more expensive than the rest of Orlando. As such, the homes that hit the market lacked the eye-popping price tags seen in Winter Park and certain downtown neighborhoods.

But a new listing is looking to change that, hitting the market at a price nearly $2 million more than the most expensive home ever sold in the area. A quick tour of the home reveals why. It has a tennis court, a swimming pool and a basketball court spread across two acres inside the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club.

The property is actually two homes: a 7,700 square foot main house and a 1,300 square foot guest house. The grounds that connect the two boast a covered lanai, a gazebo, a swimming pool and an outdoor kitchen.

The listing is represented by Deanna Armel of Armel Real Estate. The sellers are asking for $ 7 million.
