Baseball Hall of Famer Ken “The Kid” Griffey Jr. just listed his Florida mega-mansion for sale at a whopping $27 million.
The MLB center fielder and 13-time All-Star player purchased the home back in 2004 for $2,575,000, according to property records.
Located at 5603 Marleon Drive in Windermere, the house is perched on 11 private acres along Cypress Lake and comes with more than 440 feet of water frontage. It totals 22,108 square feet and has seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
Elsewhere in the home is a golf simulator, gym, theater, wine room, a 28-foot grand foyer, a gourmet chef’s kitchen and an elevator. Outside, the mansion comes with pool and spa (complete with waterslides), a private basketball court, a 10-car garage with two vehicle lifts, a boat dock and a community boat ramp.
The home is priced at $27 million and the agent handling the sale is Llin Lu with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty. All photos via Realtor.
