DJ Khaled's former Florida home with a sneaker shrine is on the market for $16 million

The waterfront mansion formerly home to DJ Khaled is now on the market, and it comes with some wild amenities.

The Grammy-winning music producer bought the home, located at 3914 Island Estates Drive in Aventura, for $3.84 million in 2015 and lived there for five years.

Khaled had the home adorned with plenty of over-the-top touches, including a 1,000-square-foot custom sneaker shrine for his expansive kick collection. As it no longer houses Khaled, it also no longer houses his shoes, but the shrine remains, ready to be filled again with 500-plus pairs of shoes.

You may recognize the 6,697-square-foot home and its 50-foot boat dock from Khaled's SnapChat superstar days, where he documented himself getting lost at sea on his Jet Ski.

After Khaled's time in the residence, it was sold to music executives Nahim Jorge Bonilla and Melissa Granda in 2020 for $4.8 million. Bonilla and Granda are the founders of Ruido Callejero Music and own the Mandrake Miami, a celebrity-friendly eatery.

Other impressive touches throughout the home include 30-foot vaulted ceilings, 14-karat gold chandeliers adorned with Swarovski crystals, an elevator, a movie theater, a wine room, a chef's kitchen and 240 feet of South Florida water frontage.

The home is priced at $16,399,000, and the listing agent is Janet Ben with One Sotheby's International Realty.
