Billy Joel ditches his Long Island estate and seeks a new home in Florida

Mr. New York is leaving his longtime Long Island home behind him, and he may just be looking for a new state of mind in Florida.

Joel's Long Island estate, which he's called home for more than 20 years, is now on the market, and so is his Florida mega-mansion that has been for sale since 2018.

The Florida home, located at 1110 S. Ocean Boulevard in Manalapan, sits on a 1.6-acre lot just south of Palm Beach. This house is listed for $64.9 million, a significant price jump from its original listing at $31.9 million.

The 13,349-square-foot mansion includes nine bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and 150 feet of Atlantic Ocean frontage.

It's expected the Piano Man is seeking new property in the area.
