This Florida castle is on the market for $5.7 million

A house designed to look exactly like a medieval castle is now for sale in Florida.

Located just north of Jacksonville at 45500 Stratton Rd., in Callahan, the castle house was built in 2008 by developer Mark Drury, and has just about everything a royal court could ask for.

The nearly 9,000-square-foot stronghold comes with six bedrooms and six bathrooms, and features two corner “towers,” as well as an Italian wood fireplace, a pool, iron fountains, a five-car garage, and more.

For whatever reason, Florida seems to have quite a few castle homes, like Mystic Lake Manor, a famously gay resort castle that recently sold for $425K.

This particular castle is asking $5.7 million and the listing agent is Kay Stalvey of Watson Realty.
