Publix, a Lakeland-based grocery chain that makes absurdly popular deli subs, announced Wednesday that they will expand their same-day grocery delivery to all 1,148 stores within the next four years.

The service, which is in partnership with Instacart, is currently available in some ZIP codes, including most of the Orlando area.

"The overwhelming response of our customers has proven that Instacart and Publix are a strong and dynamic team," said Laurie Douglas, chief information officer, in a company statement.

Publix teamed up with Instacart back in 2016.
