One day these strange Florida headlines will stop, but unfortunately, today is not that day. In a lawsuit filed in Seminole County, Orlando dominatrix Goddess Jude is being sued by a 68-year-old “financial slavery” client for alleged elderly exploitation during their four-year relationship, WKMG Local 6 reports.
Alex Abrams accuses Goddess Jude, whose real name is Judith Gumbrecht, of “draining more than $500,000 from his bank and credit cards, as well as taking ownership of his 1,450 square-foot townhome in Casselberry.” Abrams’ lawyer says his client has dementia, clinical depression and Alzheimer's disease, conditions that were known to Gumbrecht. The man met the dominatrix after his 32-year marriage ended, and she told him “it was the highest honor to be her financial slave.”
On her website’s wish list, Gumbrecht sounds more like a student loan repayment plan than a dominatrix when she asks clients to contribute toward the upkeep of herself and the dungeon.
“If you seek full financial takeover that leaves you with nothing but an allowance after bill pay because you don’t deserve more, contact me for further discussion,” the website says.
The suit alleges Gumbrecht rewarded Abrams with sexual favors, but on her website, Gumbrecht says she “will NEVER perform illegal sexual acts.” Abrams also said he would be punished if he didn’t met her financial requirements. Gumbrecht’s lawyer says told the TV station that there is no merit to Abrams' claims.
