Yesterday, the gastropub released a sneak peek of the much-anticipated menu, and we have to say, our palates are primed and mouths are watering.
There’s, of course, an iteration of shrimp and grits (this one with chorizo oil and Key West pink shrimp, shown below); a lobster souffle with lobster bisque and pancake crust, whatever that is; and a croque madame – an elevated ham and cheese sandwich (Rav Pig’s version comes on a caramelized croissant), with a fried egg on top and béchamel sauce dribbling down the sides (shown right).
A couple of dishes have us scratching our collective heads, like foie-gras french toast made with “dehydrated brioche,” but no matter.
The new brunch is set to start at 11 a.m. this Saturday, Aug. 8, and will run until 2:30 p.m. So, maybe get in line Saturday night (or make a reservation).
