Pine St. downtown … Look for Garp & Fuss to open any day now in the old Bistro on Park Avenue space off Park Avenue in Winter Park … Also on Park Avenue, Choulala Fine Pastries will open a proper patisserie in February … Over in Hannibal Square, the Sausage Shack has opened in the former Park Cafe & Bakery space … Look for De La Vega Restaurant to open on City Plaza Way in Oviedo this February … Coolgreens, a fast-caj health-food eatery, will expand to Orlando in the near future.
CLOSINGS: Cocktail bar Herman’s Loan Office has closed, as has Native and Oak Room. The group behind the trio of bars will open Novelty, a new bar concept, in Thornton Park this March … Kasa Restaurant has closed and will rebrand itself as Chela Tequila & Tacos. The reopening is slated for Jan. 23. Chela will feature a $15 AYCE taco menu every Tuesday.
