You may not feel very land-of-the-free this summer — we certainly struggle to. But amid the turmoil and injustice that has dominated our political landscape this year, we have also seen that special Floridian fervor that arises when times are tough. Folks are speaking out, uplifting their communities and standing up for their neighbors, which is always something to be celebrated.

So however those celebrations look to you, Orlando and its surrounding neighborhoods are ready to host you spending the holiday weekend outside, under fireworks, drink in hand and together.
