Dubbed the “Florida Man house,” this Pinellas Park abode comes with some true Florida decor: a haunted pirate’s cove, a Western saloon, a room stuck in 1950 and a taxidermy room, all culminating in a total 22 themed rooms, reports Fox 13.
Located at 7061 62nd St. N. in Pinellas Park, the house was built in 1941 and has since been subject to decades of intense jazzing-up.
Jena Spencer grew up in the home and told Fox 13 that the decorating began back in the 1980s, when her parents set out to build a hallway from the pool to the house. What originally was a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home soon became an amusement park-like 22-room house.
(Officially, the home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, according to the listing.)
Spencer’s parents passed in 2023, reports Fox 13, and upkeep of the house proved too difficult, so she recently listed it for $500,000. A sale is currently pending, but both Fox 13 and the Tampa Bay Times say the new owners are looking to transform the house into an Airbnb, letting guests pay to live the Florida Man life.
The agent handling the sale is Nacy Burris with DHM Real Estate Group. All photos are courtesy of Realtor.com.
