There’s no good news on the horizon. Uncle Lou’s will close, seemingly for good, this weekend, and Uncle Lou himself is voluntarily departing to Jamaica from ICE custody in Baker County any day. And yet, Orlando musicians are still raising funds for this beloved mainstay of Orlando underground music, who will need to rebuild his life once he gets there.
On Saturday afternoon, a mix of young and established acts including Future Bartenderz, M.A.C.E, Toxic Cats and S.M.O.P. played their hearts out at Will’s Pub to raise some more funds for the man. Jim Leatherman caught the action down front.
