Universal is going to unleash an unspeakable evil in the Wizarding World to celebrate Halloween

Halloween Horror Nights is far from the only game in town anymore and Universal seems to know it.

The competition from Sea World and other Central Florida parks has undoubtedly pushed the premier theme park haunt to be better. But that's not enough. They've gone beyond their own original scare zone to create a Halloween-themed party for their premiere IP-based land. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will turn dark for several nights between now and Halloween as part of "Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle."

Dedicated followers of the Dark Lord Voldemort will roam the streets and new projections will turn Hogwarts into a castle under siege by evil. The nighttime program will also feature exclusive items for sale in the Hogsmeade area of the park including Death Eater masks and Dark Mark merch.
