
From what we’re hearing through various grapevines of drama, tomorrow is the day that DPAC will announce how it is exactly – or in “circle” fashion – that it’s going to move forward with Florida Theatrical Association in terms of presenting Broadway shows in the new performing arts center. You may be aware that there have been “negotiations” going on – some announced before they even happened – but if all’s well that ends well, good for both parties. We’ll be at the press conference tomorrow morning to get the details, but, for now, this is the next triage step in controlling a public-relations nightmare for the venue’s nonprofit operational arm.
