Swamp Sistas threw a party for a good cause with their La La fundraiser at Orlando Fringe

Local folk and roots-music collective Swamp Sistas took over the Orlando Fringe Festival Lawn this weekend to hold their big La La event for an 11th year. The phalanx of musicians played their hearts out to raise money for The Center Orlando and even though there was some rain, a massive rainbow appropriately replaced the downpour.

Our own Jim Leatherman caught sets from the Swamp Sistas Second Line, Raspberry Pie, Swamp Sistas, Rachel Decker and George Dimitrov, Beth McKee and Her Funky Time Band, Betties Music, Hannah Stokes and Tomas Milovac, Levon White and Bunky Garrabrant, Jessica Delacruz and Elizabeth Ward, Jeannine Gage and David Armstrong, and Amy Robbins and Ka Malinalli.
