A resurgent Jawbreaker roared through the somewhat puzzling location of the House of Blues (a gig’s a gig!) as part of a reunion tour on an otherwise sleepy Monday evening. The reaction was, yes, reverent for the emo legends.
Touring openers Joyce Manor played hard to a fierce crowd of their own partisans. A multigenerational evening of angular pop-punk and hardcore sounds and a “good” time was had by all, judging by the photos our Michael Lothrop caught at the scene.
