Visit Orlando’s yearly prix fixe culinary celebration Magical Dining went long this year, benefiting both the beat-down restaurant industry and beleaguered residents. That extended season of fine dining for Orlando citizens raised an eye-popping amount for charities benefiting homeless and struggling people in Central Florida.
According to a report from Bungalower, the tourism agency shared that a $1 charge on all of the meals purchased as part of the event raised $289,291 for Pathlight Home and IDignity.
