I’ll waste no time on the adorable holiday decor IKEA has rolled out this year and get straight to the good stuff. The real reason we all go to IKEA. The food.

The IKEA Julbord, or holiday buffet, is back, and it’s on Dec. 11 this year. Tickets are a far cry from the furniture store’s signature 99-cent breakfast, coming in at $17 for adults and $5 for kids, but look at all the options:

  • Assorted varieties of herring
  • Gravad lax with mustard sauce
  • Poached salmon
  • Red beet salad
  • Swedish cucumber salad
  • Swedish potato salad
  • Christmas ham
  • Prinskorv sausages
  • Meatballs with lingonberries
  • Hard boiled eggs with shrimp
  • Red cabbage
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Assorted cheeses
  • Crispbread, thin bread, dinner rolls
  • Swedish rice pudding with almonds
  • Assorted desserts
  • Jansson temptations
  • Glögg with raisin almond mix
  • Coffee, tea, fountain beverages
The Julbord at IKEA Orlando always sells out quickly, so consider picking up your tickets this weekend while you’re out selecting a $3 table lamp or stuffing your face with meatballs and cinnamon rolls.
